🏅✨ Going Beyond: Honoring Exceptional Service in Morgan County Charter Schools ✨🏅 At our End-of-Year Celebration, we proudly awarded the Morgan County Charter Schools "Going Beyond" Service Coin to three outstanding individuals whose leadership, courage, and compassion have made a lasting impact on our district. 👏 Mrs. Chelsea Hayes was recognized for an act of true heroism — selflessly assisting a fellow district employee during an accident. Her quick thinking and kindness reflect the very best of who we are. 👏 Dr. Dennis Fordham stepped in during a critical time and provided steady leadership as Interim Superintendent. Though his time at MCCS was short, his impact was significant — and he will forever be a Bulldog. 👏 Dr. Virgil Cole led Morgan County Charter Schools with vision, heart, and unwavering dedication for the past five years. He guided the district through some of the most challenging times in education, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and led MCCS to earn numerous recognitions for its excellence. A true servant leader with a heart for people, Dr. Cole’s legacy will continue to shape our district for years to come — as we continue to learn, lead, and thrive. Georgia-Pacific Madison Plywood continues to partner with Morgan County High School with a $22,500 donation to support a variety of departments in the career academy and provide scholarships to students continuing their technical education. 🎨✨ Through Their Eyes: A Powerful Student Art Showcase ✨🎨 The talented students in our Alternative Education Program and the Madison Artists Guild (MAG) made this year’s Annual Art Show an unforgettable celebration of creativity and connection! With generous support from MAG — who proudly sponsor the art program — students captured powerful images of the people, places, and moments that matter most to them. These stunning photos were enlarged and wheat-pasted by the students themselves on the exterior wall of Crossroads for all to see. 🎞️🧱 A special thank you to the Safari Park for joining us in support! Many of the animal photos on display were taken during a spring field trip to the park — where inspiration was wild and creativity ran free. 🐾📸 Select framed and matted prints will be featured at the MAG Gallery throughout the summer — be sure to stop by and experience these incredible works of art!

🎓✨ The Morgan County High School Class of 2025 took their Senior Walk today, retracing their steps through MCPS, MCES, and MCMS — the very halls where their educational journey began. From tiny Bulldogs to proud Seniors, it’s a full-circle moment filled with high fives, hugs, and happy tears. This tradition is more than a walk — it’s a powerful reminder of how far these students have come and the village that helped raise them. A special moment for teachers, staff, and students alike — and one we’ll never forget. Next stop: Graduation. 🎓💙
