Dear School Board members, Staff, and Community, Being the superintendent of Morgan County Charter Schools has been one of the greatest honors of my life. My family and I have been welcomed with open arms by the Morgan County community, and our decision to move here before I assumed this position has proven to be one of the best decisions we've made as a family. With that said, it is with a heavy heart that I announce an earlier retirement than anticipated as Superintendent of Morgan County Charter Schools, effective February 28, due to health reasons related to a recent diagnosis. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. God bless, Virgil
