We are excited to announce that Morgan County Elementary School and Morgan County Middle School have been named 2023-2024 Math Leader Schools by the Georgia Department of Education. šš
These schools earned this prestigious recognition by demonstrating outstanding growth in the percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Learner level or higher on the Georgia Milestones Assessments in mathematics for fifth and eighth grades.
Adding to the excitement, State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited with teachers from both schools today to personally present their award banners! š

The Math Leader Awards spotlight the vital role of numeracy skills in fifth and eighth grades, pushing for higher growth in schools. This achievement reflects the hard work, commitment, and perseverance of our incredible students, dedicated educators, and supportive families. šš
