We wanted to inform you that, due to a chance of rain forecasted for Friday, we've made the decision to postpone Field Day until Monday, May 20th. We want to ensure the best experience possible for our students, and moving the event will help us avoid any weather-related issues. Please hold onto your tickets, as they will still be valid for Monday's event. All grades will still go out at the same time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we believe it's in the best interest of everyone involved. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. It's not too late for 2nd grade students to get their cap and gown picture! If you'd like to purchase one, please send in $10 per 5x7 that you'd like to order TOMORROW. It's been a Totally Awesome, fun-filled, 90's themed Teacher Appreciation Week! We have been given the Royal Treatment! PTO, MCPS Families, Administration, and Local businesses have gone ABOVE & BEYOND treating us to delicious food, tasty desserts, retro candy, coffee/juice bar, prizes/gift cards from businesses, and a hat bar. We APPRECIATE EVERYTHING that EVERYONE did to make us feel special this week! THANK YOU!! ¡Ha sido una Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros con temática de los 90 totalmente increíble, llena de diversión! ¡Nos han dado el Trato Real! To conclude our 90's workout wear day, our amazing administration treated staff to a 90's Hip Hop Fitness workout at Pretty Girlz Fitness in downtown Eatonton. We ended the evening with a nostalgic dinner at Pizza Hut. It was totally rad! Students in Mrs. Haynes', Mrs. Duvall's, and Mrs. Kiepper's classes adopted calves through the National Dairy Farmers Association this year. They learned about cows, dairy farms, and milk. What a surprise to learn that the cows we adopted were located at Big Sandy Creek Dairy here in Morgan County! Farmer Katelin Benkoski brought Cocoa, Skittles, and Raindrop to visit. Students got to ask her questions, learn more, and even pet their cow! 🐄 Thank you Big Sandy Creek Dairy! Los estudiantes de las clases de la Sra. Haynes, la Sra. Duvall y la Sra.
