Mrs. Sarah Ball came to share with our Primary huddle about Holy Week and Easter. Mrs. Sarah shared the good news that Easter brings! She gave each student a bag of Easter Story snack mix to help remind them about Holy Week. Thank you Mrs. Sarah for coming to share with our primary students.
Students also received a Jesus Loves Me bag because it was our last huddle of the year.

Kindergarten classes and Gifted classes enjoyed a visit from Mr. Will Dodd & the Star Lab. Students viewed the sky, stars, the sun, and constellations in the Star Lab. Thank you, Mr. Dodd, for the wonderful science experience for our students! Students in the media center are taking virtual field trips using VR goggles to view the Statue of Liberty, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington monument, the Bald Eagle, the American flag, and many more. The students also used VR goggles to view memorial statues of veterans, Jefferson, and MLK, Jr. Los estudiantes del centro de medios están realizando excursiones virtuales utilizando gafas de realidad virtual para ver la Estatua de la Libertad, el Monumento a Lincoln, el Monumento a Washington, el águila calva, la bandera estadounidense y muchos más. Only a few days left until March 18, 2026, the statewide GA Department of Education Day of Service and the excitement is building!
Created by our very own Rachel Kinsaul, Georgia’s 2026 Teacher of the Year, this exciting initiative invites all schools and districts across Georgia to engage students in meaningful service-learning that strengthens community connections, promotes real-world learning, and inspires civic responsibility.
In Morgan County Charter Schools, all four of our schools are jumping in with enthusiasm—collecting cereal and pet supplies, shredding items for the Humane Society, gathering hygiene products, building birdhouses for the community garden, writing heartfelt letters to the elderly and first responders, planting flowers, adopting a road, and creating Easter baskets to share with members of our community.
March 18th will be a day filled with compassion and teamwork as our students learn the power of serving others. Morgan County is all in—and we hope you will be too! Let’s come together and show the incredible impact that service can have in our schools, our communities, and beyond. 💙
