The MCPS Fun Run was filled with laughter, cheers, and SO much school spirit! Students raced around the track, cheered on their friends, and even got the chance to pie their teachers and school leaders right in the face .
Together, our Bulldogs raised a record-breaking $58,000 for their school! From big smiles to high-fives, this morning was all about fun, teamwork, and showing off that Bulldog spirit.
Thank you to our amazing community for supporting our Bulldogs! Way to go, MCPS!

Notifying the school of an upcoming absence or early check-out just got easier!
Morgan County Charter Schools is excited to introduce a new, streamlined process for submitting absence requests through the Campus Parent Portal.
Follow these two simple steps:
✅ Step 1: Submit Your Absence Request
Log in to your Campus Parent Portal and navigate to Absence Requests, found on the home screen under Shortcuts. Complete all required fields to notify the school of your child’s upcoming absence or early check-out.
✅ Step 2: Submit the Absence Excuse Form After Returning
Once your child returns to school, complete the Absence Excuse Form using the link provided in your status update email.
Alternatively, visit www.morgan.k12.ga.us, select your child’s school, and click on Absence Excuse Form from the main menu.
📌 Paper notes may also be submitted directly to the school, if preferred.
This new process helps ensure timely and accurate attendance records, while giving families a more convenient way to communicate with schools.
Questions? Contact your school’s front office; we’re happy to help!

Let’s work together to keep everyone safe and make drop-off and pick-up smooth for all!

As we gear up for the first day of school, make sure you're in the know!

As our students head back to school, let’s all do our part to keep them safe!

📣 Attention MCPS Car Rider Families! 🚗
🚦 Please take a moment to review our official drop-off and pick-up traffic pattern before the first day. Following the designated lanes and directions helps ensure every student gets to and from school safely—and it makes a big difference in keeping traffic flowing.
🕖 Doors open at 7:20 AM. Please do not drop students off before this time, as staff will not be on duty to supervise.
💡 Pro Tips for Car Riders:
✔️ Stay in your designated lane
✔️ Pull all the way forward before stopping
✔️ Children should always exit the vehicle from the passenger (right) side
✔️ Have your child ready to exit the car quickly
✔️ Always follow staff directions
✔️ Remain patient—especially during the first few weeks!
We know the beginning of the school year can come with a few growing pains, but your patience and cooperation mean the world to us and our students. 💛 Let’s work together to make drop-off and pick-up safe, calm, and efficient!
Thanks for being part of the MCPS family. Let’s make it a great start to the year! 🐾
