Students and staff wore crazy socks on Tuesday for Read Across America Week. "Crazy about reading fiction, fantasy, & fairy tales!" Today we celebrate the people who work behind the scenes to keep our schools safe, clean, and running smoothly—our incredible maintenance team! 🛠️

From early mornings to late afternoons, these dedicated professionals make sure our classrooms are ready, our facilities are safe, and our campuses remain welcoming for every student, teacher, and visitor. Whether it’s fixing a problem before anyone notices, preparing spaces for events, or responding quickly when something needs attention, their work keeps Morgan County Charter Schools moving forward every single day.

Simply put, our schools could not run without them.

We are grateful for the pride, care, and commitment our maintenance staff brings to our school community. Your work supports learning in ways that often go unseen but are always appreciated.

Morgan County Charter Schools is excited to welcome our newest students! Kindergarten registration opens March 9, and we encourage families to register as soon as possible to help us plan for an amazing school year.

📝 Documents you’ll need:
✔ Parent identification
✔ Student birth certificate
✔ Student Social Security card (or signed waiver)
✔ Two documents verifying residency
✔ Immunization records
✔ Completed health form (Form 3300)

⭐ Bonus: Students with completed registration and documentation by April 24 will receive a special prize at Kindergarten Round Up!

Fairy tales, fantasy & fiction books are creative & imaginative stories written to take us to far away places in our imaginations!

¡Los cuentos de hadas, la fantasía y los libros de ficción son historias creativas e imaginativas escritas para llevarnos a lugares lejanos de nuestra imaginación!

Non-fiction books provide students with real information, depict true stories, or explain facts about the topic. These books have a variety of text features like maps, diagrams, captions, photographs, a table of contents, a glossary, & an index to help students find information. Some examples of non-fiction books are biographies about real people, true stories about real world events, encyclopedias, instructional guides, or books about a specific animal, plant, planet, etc.

Los libros de no ficción proporcionan a los estudiantes información real, describen historias reales o explican datos sobre el tema. Estos libros incluyen diversos recursos textuales, como mapas, diagramas, pies de foto, fotografías, índice, glosario e índice, para ayudar a los estudiantes a encontrar información.
