Yesterday we had the sweetest surprise reception for our new Principal. Finishing this year strong and looking forward to the legacy he builds!
GO DOGS!

We had a MAGIC Monday in the Middle yesterday.
Mrs. Lauren Patty hosted a virtual career day with Zoom calls all day long with different professionals! Classes all over the building tuned in to hear from an electrician, a nurse, an SRO, and even someone from the film industry!!
Also, as a culminating activity for their Pickleball Unit 8th graders took a quick trip to Hill Park to put their skills to use! Coach Rice, Coach Cousins, and Coach Carr enjoyed this outing as much as our students!
Soaking up every minute we have with our MCMS family before summer comes!

Another week of May full of activities!! Let's make it a good one Bulldog Family!

Once again our 8th graders travelled to Savannah for their annual trip. This group represented themselves and MCMS very well. We are proud of them and thankful for the community support, administration, staff members, and parents who make this possible.

We are proud to share that Hailey Boyd has been named the Georgia FFA State Winner in the Horticulture Middle School SAE Record Book, an incredible accomplishment!
Her award is based on her Floral Design SAE, where she has developed skills in creating custom arrangements, working with a variety of flowers and materials, and designing pieces for events and special occasions. Through her Supervised Agricultural Experience, she has gained hands-on experience in design techniques, customer service, and record keeping while growing her passion for the floral industry.
We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and dedication she has put into her SAE and FFA. This is a huge achievement and well deserved!

Morgan County Middle School Physicals will take place after school this Wednesday in the Middle School Gym.
The cost of the physicals is $5.
The forms need to be filled out by a parent or guardian before the physicals so the doctors can see the athlete's medical history. They can be picked up in the front office or found online on the athletic page of the school's website. Once the doctors complete the physicals, parents need to upload the physicals into Aktivate, an online platform. Directions for Activate are located on the school's website. Please use a computer, not a phone, to upload the physicals. Physicals will cover the athletes for the entire 2026-2027 school year.
