Don't forget to make sure you get up a little earlier due to the time change! Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Today we celebrate the people who work behind the scenes to keep our schools safe, clean, and running smoothly—our incredible maintenance team! 🛠️
From early mornings to late afternoons, these dedicated professionals make sure our classrooms are ready, our facilities are safe, and our campuses remain welcoming for every student, teacher, and visitor. Whether it’s fixing a problem before anyone notices, preparing spaces for events, or responding quickly when something needs attention, their work keeps Morgan County Charter Schools moving forward every single day.
Simply put, our schools could not run without them.
We are grateful for the pride, care, and commitment our maintenance staff brings to our school community. Your work supports learning in ways that often go unseen but are always appreciated.
Please join us in thanking the amazing maintenance professionals who help make Morgan County Charter Schools a great place to learn and grow! 👏

Monday, MCMS proudly hosted the Metro/East Georgia Regional competition for the Great History Challenge, and our students absolutely rose to the occasion. Morgan County led the way with the most qualifications, the most participants, and the highest number of students advancing to the National Level competition in Columbus, Ohio this May!
We are especially proud to recognize our 8 Region Champions and National Qualifiers:
Henry Boyce
Lennart Nagel
Eliana Niko
Lily Reed
Cameron Smith
Lillian Turk
Kennedy Washington
Emerson Williams
Congratulations to all of our participants for their effort and excellence. Columbus, here we come!

Our Science Olympiad team recently competed in the regional competition, and we are so proud of the growth and progress they continue to show. This group keeps working hard, learning from each experience, and getting better every time they compete.
We had several Top 10 finishes across multiple events, and we’re especially excited to highlight a 2nd place finish in Potions and Poisons by Emerson Williams and Micah Thomas! What an outstanding accomplishment!
Go STEM Dogs! 🐾🔬

Please join us in congratulating three outstanding students from Morgan County Middle School who represented their school with excellence at the Northeast Georgia Regional Student Technology Competition!
Affiliated with the Georgia Student Technology Competition, this event challenges and empowers students to become leaders in the digital age. In the school’s first year competing, these students went head-to-head with peers from across the entire NEGA RESA region—and their performance was truly impressive!
🌟Annabelle Martin (8th Grade) – 1st Place, Graphic Design (Advancing to State!)
🌟Evan Freeman (6th Grade) – 1st Place, Digital Photo Production (Advancing to State!)
🌟 Makenzie Barton (8th Grade) – High marks in 3D Modeling, one of the largest and most competitive categories
Thank you to Mrs. Theresa Dickinson and Mr. Travis Freeman on mentoring these students and being instrumental in launching this program during its inaugural year.
