🌟 Community Partnership Spotlight: Georgia Pacific Donates to Morgan County Charter Schools! 🌟 Morgan County Charter Schools is thrilled to announce a generous donation of $13,500 from Georgia Pacific! Understanding the vital role of community in shaping future success, Georgia Pacific’s contribution will greatly enhance our educational programs and resources. A portion of the donation will go toward upgrading technical equipment and software for our Career Academy. Students will benefit from forklift training, in-person tours, and a skills simulator truck funded through Be Pro Be Proud, a workforce development initiative focused on technical careers. Additionally, Georgia Pacific is donating $5,000 to our athletics program, earning them Elite Sponsor Status! This funding will support various sports and provide our teams and coaches with the resources they need and deserve for their hard work. Congratulations to Mason Nunn for being the National WINNER in the Grain Production Proficiency Area! This award recognizes his work with his SAE project. Mason works with his father to produce and harvest grain crops- specifically corn and wheat!

Some Senior students from Morgan County High School had a unique Learning Opportunity provided by The Bank of Madison. Students were welcomed and had the chance to observe actual deposit transactions, vault visit, question and answer sessions about debit cards, savings and checking accounts as well as interest rates and loans. We would like to thank the Bank of Madison for the real life, hands on, immersion into the workings of this financial institution.
