The Preliminary SAT, also known as the PSAT/NMSQT®, is a practice version of the SAT exam. You can only take the PSAT once per year, and many students take the test in both 10th and 11th grade. If you earn a high score on the PSAT your junior year, you could qualify to receive a National Merit Scholarship—$180 million dollars in merit scholarships are awarded to students each year. The PSAT is 2 hours and 45 minutes long and tests your skills in reading, writing, and math. Unlike the SAT, the highest score possible on the PSAT is 1520.

Our High School Healthcare students are hard at work learning the everyday skills they’ll need to care for future patients — from shaving ✂️, brushing & flossing teeth 🦷, and helping patients in and out of beds and wheelchairs 🚑, to properly putting on and removing their PPE 😷.
With guidance from the amazing Nurse Leah, these Bulldogs are gaining real-world experience and preparing to provide care with skill and compassion. ❤️
👏 A special shoutout to Mr. Merritt Ainslie and Mr. Robert St. John for being such great sports as “patients” — our students couldn’t do it without you!
The future of healthcare is bright with these Bulldogs!

In a unique community and regional partnership, Morgan County High School, Putnam County High School, the Morgan County Fire Department, and the Putnam County Fire Department are joining forces to launch a Firefighter Certification Program for high school students.
This exciting new program gives students from both counties the hands-on training and classroom knowledge needed to earn their Firefighter 1 (FF1) certification — all while receiving high school credit!
By sharing resources and expertise, we’re investing in the next generation of first responders and creating a direct pathway to a rewarding career in public safety. Together, we’re building a stronger, safer future for our communities.
Here’s to our future heroes — the training starts now!

📢 Reminder!
💻 Deadline to sign up for Chromebook Insurance is August 15th! Don’t miss your chance to protect your student’s device for the year.
