Congratulations to Rachel Kinsaul for recently being named the Georgia Teacher of the Year! As the Georgia Teacher of the Year, Kinsaul will serve as an advocate for public education in Georgia, speaking to the public about the teaching profession and serving as an ex-officio member of the State Board of Education. She will also participate in the competitive selection process for the 2026 National Teacher of the Year. Way to go Mrs. Kinsaul!

Georgia-Pacific Madison Plywood continues to partner with Morgan County High School with a $22,500 donation to support a variety of departments in the career academy and provide scholarships to students continuing their technical education. Areas that received funding were: Career Tech, Engineering, Ag Mechanics, Drama, Forestry, Culinary, the Science Olympiad Team and Athletics.
