🏀 A Legendary Moment in Morgan County History 🏀 Join us on Friday, December 20th, as we honor one of our very own, BJ Elder, by retiring his high school jersey! This special ceremony will take place between the girls’ and boys’ basketball games at Morgan County High School. BJ Elder’s extraordinary contributions to Morgan County basketball and his legacy as a Bulldog will forever be etched in our hearts. Let’s pack the gym and celebrate this monumental occasion together!

🎉🏆 Celebrating Excellence in Math! 🏆🎉 We are excited to announce that Morgan County Elementary School and Morgan County Middle School have been named 2023-2024 Math Leader Schools by the Georgia Department of Education. 🎓📊 These schools earned this prestigious recognition by demonstrating outstanding growth in the percentage of students scoring at the Proficient Learner level or higher on the Georgia Milestones Assessments in mathematics for fifth and eighth grades. Adding to the excitement, State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited with teachers from both schools today to personally present their award banners! 🏅🙌 The Math Leader Awards spotlight the vital role of numeracy skills in fifth and eighth grades, pushing for higher growth in schools.
