šŸŒŠšŸ¦Ž 2nd Grade Adventures at Rock Eagle! 🐢🌿 Our 2nd graders had an exciting, hands-on adventure at Rock Eagle that brought science to life in the best way! Students students rolled up their sleeves (and got their feet wet!) as they used dip nets to collect and identify creatures living in Rock Eagle Lake during Lake Ecology. The fun didn’t stop there! In Herpetology, students got up close and personal with reptiles and amphibians—including snakes, frogs, turtles, and even a baby alligator! šŸšŸ¢ Their faces lit up with excitement as they learned all about these fascinating creatures and what makes them unique. It was a day full of discovery, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you Rock Eagle for having MCPS 2nd graders.

šŸ’™ Today was a beautiful reminder of the heart and spirit that makes Morgan County so special. Morgan County Charter Schools Special Olympics brought together students from across the district to celebrate ability, friendship, and joy. From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter, determination, and proud moments as our athletes showcased their talents and cheered on one another. 🌟 What made it even more meaningful was the support from our MCHS ambassadors, student clubs, and staff who gave their time and hearts to ensure every athlete felt celebrated and seen. At MCCS, we are incredibly proud of our Special Education program—a community of students, teachers, and staff who remind us every day what it means to lead with love, perseverance, and purpose. Today wasn’t just about medals—it was about moments, memories, and the power of inclusion!
