āThis recognition is a wonderful reflection of the commitment our Board of Education has to Morgan County Charter Schools,ā said Dr. Susan Stancil, Superintendent. āOur Board understands that the decisions made through governance have a lasting impact on our students, our staff, and the future of our schools. They lead with purpose, work collaboratively, and remain focused on creating opportunities for every student. I am proud of the work they do on behalf of our students, staff, families, and community.ā

The standards are based on the State Board of Educationās Standards for Effective Governance and emphasize strong governance practices, strategic leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
