MADISON, GA — Morgan County Charter Schools is proud to announce a 95.3% graduation rate for the Class of 2026. This achievement surpasses Georgia’s statewide graduation rate and marks one of the highest graduation rates in the district’s history.
Superintendent Dr. Susan Stancil shared, “We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and this tremendous achievement. A graduation rate of 95.3% reflects the hard work and determination of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the strong support of our families and community. We are proud of the number, but even more proud of the students behind it and all they have accomplished.”
Georgia’s statewide graduation rate also reached an all-time high in 2026 at 88.5%, an increase from 87.2% in 2025. Morgan County Schools stands among an elite group of school districts across Georgia, with a graduation rate reaching 95% or higher.
State School Superintendent Richard Woods said, “I'm incredibly proud of the class of 2026, and the teachers, families, school and district staff, and communities who supported them. It's important to us that we're not just increasing the graduation rate, but ensuring students graduate prepared for life.”
