For Parents
Parents are invited to visit the school during the day by appointment only or in extreme emergencies. All parents and other visitors are to first report to the office to obtain a visitor's pass before meeting with school personnel. The visitor's pass will be issued when a government ID is presented and the RAPTOR system clears the background of the visitor.
Teachers are not to be interrupted during class time to talk with parents or other visitors except in emergency situations. Necessary items, which are brought during the school day for students, are to be left in the office. School personnel will deliver to the student at a time which will least affect classroom instruction.

Water Safety Information
During the 2023 Legislative session, the state legislature passed the Edna Mae McGovern Act, which requires local school systems to provide information on age-appropriate water safety education courses and swimming lessons.
To comply with this legislation, the school system will provide this information electronically by directing parents and guardians to the local recreation department's aquatics website.
