KASH

Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, Habits (KASH)

Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, Habits (KASH) is an integral part of the Morgan County Charter School System’s culture. The KASH focus encompasses 21st century skills to be implemented system- wide. In each K-12 classroom, students are introduced to a monthly theme and weekly or bi-weekly age-appropriate KASH term, concept, or practice.

Each school will create a KASH calendar and develop a plan for implementation that fits the needs, schedule, and overall climate of their school. Time should be given each week for KASH implementation, explanation, and reinforcement. Each school will host three culminating KASH activities to include but not limited to: Professional Dress Day, A Networking Event, and Career Spotlight. A list of monthly themes and supporting terms have been provided.

Our main focus with KASH is to adopt a culture where students will receive a set of skills that will ultimately allow them success in the workplace and the ability to compete on a global scale.
