Mental Health Services
A minimum of two full-time guidance counselors are located in each school in the Morgan County Charter School System. Additionally, the system employs two full-time Mental Health Specialists who provide district-wide support to school counseling and administrative teams. All of our counselors work to support children holistically in order to promote overall well-being, positive habits, and college and career readiness. Counselors work closely with new students to facilitate assimilation and acclimation, as host small support group sessions, provide social-emotional classroom lessons, and advise students in academic decision making. and classroom learning. Our Counselors serve on our Crisis Intervention Team and are involved with student outcomes at every level.
