Steps to take for contacting your childs' teacher or counselor

Using  the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus allows parents greater access to their student’s academic progress, including grades and attendance.  Should you have concerns regarding your student’s achievement, try these methods of communicating with teachers.

•  E-mail the teacher.  All teachers have e-mail accounts, which can be accessed on the MCHS website.  This is probably the most effective means of communication, as email is most accessible to teachers on a daily basis.
  
• If you do not feel comfortable e-mailing the teacher, you may call them and leave a voice mail.  Please understand that teachers are in class during the school day and are unable to take phone calls.  They will have to return your message. Call the school at 706-342-2336 and the receptionist will connect you with a particular teacher’s mailbox.
  
• Contact your student’s counselor, Leslie Smith (10th and 12th grade) or Brian Cook (9th and 11th grade).  They can assist you in scheduling parent/teacher conferences, as well as address any general questions or concerns you might have.
