Hi, my name is Lisa Adams, and I am a Media Specialist, National Board Certified Teacher, and a mother of four.  In other words, I am very busy! I have a Master's Degree and a Specialist's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Georgia.  For my research class, I completed a project in which I  surveyed Media  Specialists across the country via the LM_NET listserv.  I wanted to  know who was using Internet Filters in their libraries, why they were using them, and with what results.  The paper is accessible using the link at the top of this page.

     One of my consuming interests is Young Adult Literature, and I have also included a page of my reviews of some YA lit. titles I have read recently, and also some links to other resources on the web for YA lit.

I am employed as a Media Specialist at Morgan County High School in Madison, Georgia.
